Cat behavior is often misunderstood. Wagging tails and wide eyes can mean wildly different things in different animals. In Exquisite Cat, play as your pet cat reacting to different objects using body language cards, learning how cats non-verbally communicate their emotions with humans.
As a co-designer on Exquisite Cat, I helped research cat behavior to base our cat illustrations in scientific fact. I also helped design and implement content, puzzles, and mechanics for nine mini-games that fit the light-hearted tone and aesthetics of the deck. Some additional responsibilities include:
Graphic design and layout
Cat fact research, writing, and editing
Materials research and fabrication
Game design for alternate rules of play development and play-testing
